Thirteen years of activism to the service of the rock'n'roll and energy. Ruda forsakes, for a time, its amplifiers for an album of new songs and titles rearranged with the manner song/swing. New formula thus for these eight musicians who endeavoured to exceed the stage of the simple version "unplugged" by revisiting truly their repertory. Rearrangements, adaptations and variations of old compositions côtoient two new songs written specifically for the project. All is well, in opening of the disc, with the constant tempo and the enjoué refrain and the smoke of Gallic, in fence, responsible for melancholy. The desire for reinventing itself, the thirst for new experiments and the will to emphasize the texts of Pierre Lebas were the engines of this new project. The attempt was risky. To adapt a new universe where one did not await them after so many years spent under the auspices of the rock'n'roll and the French alternate scene could appear daring. But the French song is a major element in the compositions of Ruda and this influence becomes all its extensive in these more aired versions, leaving more place to the melodies. The good mannerss (a little irony made forever of evil) is thus an album which has a double claim: to rediscover Ruda under a new angle or quite simply to discover it for those which do not know it yet. An exit supported by a round in 30 concerts in France in October and November 2007.
