Tamboo

Growls, frictions, melancholy, fury and festival, it is a history of voyages and Rock' roll which is told to us on \"Tamboo\", the 2nd album of the residents of Brest of Electric Bazar Co. In this disc, the group recycles the influences crossed on the roads (more than 400 concerts in all Europe in 5 years) to draw some, in bulk, a Balkan Blues, a Tango rock'n'roll or psycho haversack. It is of these mixtures that the coherence of the album emerges: when the saturated guitar and the raucous voice involve us side of the crossroads states-uniens, the which gallop accordion and the violin come to recall us that with the east of Europe also, one can mix festival and melancholy... That the group has fun to take again a piece accordion music recorded by OJ Privat (Tamboo), it transforms it into rock'n'roll voodoo and frantic. The texts, in French or English, reflect the eclecticism of the group which asserts as much the heritage of Tom Waits as of Taraf de Haidouks. A such small circus, nearer to the monstrous parade of Freaks de Ted Browning than of the circus of Moscow, Electric Bazar Co functions in margin of musical industries and is useful to us on Tamboo an alive and free, single music on the scene rock'n'roll Frenchwoman.
